Have a great 4th!

4 juli 2014

Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in America to commemorate the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from (currently known as) the United Kingdom. The national holiday is marked by patriotic displays. This is the perfect chance for investors to show their patriotism via their brand; since increased sales could result.

This patriotism is the reason why Chrysler’s Jeep division uses red, white and blue! This is already the second year that Jeep ranked as America’s “most patriotic” brand in a national survey of 4,680 consumers ages 16 to 65.

Levi Strauss and Coca-Cola got a second and third place in the survey. New coming brands in the patriotic top 50 are Apple, Amazon, Facebook and Google.

“Believability is key”, according to the founder of Brand Keys. “The more engaged a consumer is with a particular emotional value and the associated brand, the more likely they’ll trust that emotion and act positively on that belief.”

For sake of simplicity let’s forget that it doesn’t matter if the brand is actually made in the USA.
